Hispamerica-Revista De Literatura

(ISSN 0363-0471)

Hispamérica is a refereed and indexed literary journal founded in 1972 with the express purpose of offering readers the literary expressions of Latin America and the Caribbean by balancing creativity and innovation with strict academic analyses. Published in Spanish, Hispamérica's thrice-yearly issues include literary criticism and reviews, as well as poetry, fiction and theater. Every issue also features one or two interviews with internationally acclaimed authors and with some of the most recent voices to come out of Latin America. The writer's "Taller" ("toolbox") and the "Testimonios" section provide authors a venue to address issues that are central to their work. The writers that have placed Latin America on the world literary map and those that continue to justify its prominent place meet in this journal.
