Aims and scope
The Australian Journal of Political Science is the official journal of the Australian Political Studies Association. The editorial team of the Journal includes a range of Australian and overseas specialists covering the major subdisciplines of political studies.
International in its outlook, readership and content, we publish articles of high quality at the cutting edge of the discipline, characterised by conceptual clarity, methodological rigour, substantive interest, theoretical coherence, broad appeal, originality and insight. We also publish review articles dealing with either a set of books or emerging themes in the discipline.
Peer Review
All research articles in this journal have undergone rigorous double-blind peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymized refereeing by two anonymous referees.
Authors can choose to publish gold open access in this journal.
