Aims and scope

International Journal of Biomaterials publishes papers on the theory, design, engineering, fabrication, and implementation of devices for therapeutic or diagnostic use in biological systems. The journal welcomes studies from the full range of materials and technologies employed in device realisation, as well as studies that investigate their clinical efficacy.

As well as original research, International Journal of Biomaterials also publishes focused review articles that examine the state of the art, identify emerging trends, and suggest future directions for developing fields.
