Aims & scope

Competitiveness Review (CR) aims to be the leading platform for academic research and conceptual policy dialogue on the competitiveness of locations. Competitiveness, understood as the set of factors, institutions and activities that enable a location to sustain a high level of prosperity and companies located there to compete successfully, requires an inclusive, cross-discipline perspective. Accordingly, Competitiveness Review publishes research from a wide range of disciplines and methodologies with a global focus, covering locations at all stages of economic development. A special attention is given to submissions dedicated to sustainable development topics (e.g. SDGs from the United Nations).

The following list indicates the key issues in Competitiveness Review. Special issues of the Review will collect papers on specific topics selected by the editors.
